Due to our active interest in the outdoors and the environment, My Green Awards was developed to assist others in finding, promoting and recommending other environmentally and outdoor friendly websites, businesses and individuals.

Our goal is to continually locate and review these businesses and offer their information on this website.

If you are serious about the environment, then it probably isn’t a stretch to assume that you put a priority on Eco-friendly, Green based businesses. My Green Awards was founded to help others locate and review many of these businesses.

It is important to note that not ALL companies that claim to be Green are completely Green. Unfortunately, going Green can be a big investment and can be costly for many small to medium sized business owners.

Even small investments in eco friendly philosophies are a step in the right direction and My Green Awards will still include these companies on our website

We always recommend that you review each website carefully and look for their environmental commitments. If you don’t see their Green Commitment on their Home page, check their “About Us” page or “Site Map”. For example, check this website out. If you look down the left hand side, you will see their “Carbon Neutral” icon. These are the types of things you should look for.

You can always do a site “Search” if they offer one, or simply send them an email. If you find a company you are happy with, please consider rewarding them with your purchase.
